Program:
The Greenkill Avenue Adult Care
Center is
staffed
with nursing personnel and Personal Care Aides. The program is designed
to maximize a client's ability and increase his/her potential for
participation
in a stimulating day care program.
We provide daily activities based on individual
and group
capabilities. Activities range from: daily chair exercises, playing
cards,
board games, helping with the noon time lunch, group discussions,
outside
activities, as well as having the option of participating in an
intergenerational
program.
We provide a morning snack, a noon time hot
lunch and
an afternoon snack. Special diets will be accommodated.
Supervision of medications will be provided by
the LPN
or RN, who are on staff at all times.
The Greenkill
Avenue Adult Care Center operates Monday through Friday from 8:00
AM
to 6:00 PM
Transportation
is available.
